Persuasion and visualization (see, hear, feel)

One of the best ways to persuade your listeners is to help them see, hear and feel what it would be like to have your product or service in their life. In the persuasion industry this is called Monroe’s Motivated Sequence.

Its a five step process where each step builds momentum and culminates in a strong call-to-action.

Step One — Attention. Get their attention focused on the problem.

Step Two — Need. Show them the magnitude and impact of the problem so you can establish that a solution is needed.

Step Three — Solution. Explain how your solution solves the problem.

Step Four — Visualization. Paint a picture of what their world would be like if they adopted your solution.

Step Five —Call to Action. Ask them to take a specific action so they can step into that new world.

So, by getting your listeners to see, hear and feel that new world you will be able to Speak Your Mind more confidently and clearly.
